Code of Ethics

Last updated: 30 May 2015

Thanks to Brett Snyder of Crankyflier.com and author of How to Start a Home-based Blogging Business for giving permission to use and modify the Terms of Use and Code of Ethics.

If someone offers me free or discounted products or services because I’m a blogger, I will let you know.  I’ll let you know even if I don’t accept the offer.

If I write about free or discounted stuff, I will always let you know who gave it to me and when, when I wrote about it, and the amount of the discount.  I will only accept free or discounted products and services if the people offering them have read and agree to the provisions of this code of ethics.

Just because I have received free or discounted stuff doesn’t automatically mean I’m going to write about it.  I reserve the right to decide whether it’s “post-worthy.”

If I think it’s bad, I’m going to say just that.  Free or discounted products and services do not buy a good review.

So…nothing so far.
